After a restful night in Žabljak, fuel up with breakfast and drive to the base of the imposing Crvena Greda (2164m), also known as Red Rock Peak. Today's trek takes you through a variety of stunning natural landscapes – vibrant meadows, panoramic summits, and serene lakes – a perfect introduction to Montenegro's wild beauty. The trail leads steadily upward to the summit, passing through sections of rocky terrain. At the top, breathtaking views of Bobotov Kuk, Durmitor's highest peak, await, along with glimpses of several glacial lakes scattered in the valleys below. After soaking in the views, begin your descent via the picturesque Jablan Lake, a peaceful gem nestled among the mountains. Continue downwards to the famous Black Lake, surrounded by dense forests and overlooked by the imposing Mount Bear. Despite its name, Black Lake is renowned for its clear, turquoise waters. If you're feeling adventurous, take a refreshing dip to celebrate your first summit of the trip. Later, return to your cosy chalet and enjoy a delicious dinner with the team, reflecting on a day well spent in the heart of Durmitor National Park.

Rise early and brace yourself for the ascent to Prutaš (2393m) in the wild heart of Durmitor National Park. The trail soon meanders through lush meadows and above the serene Skrčka lakes, with the towering peak of Bobotov Kuk watching over you from afar. Upon reaching the summit, you'll be greeted by one of the best viewpoints in the whole of Montenegro. Make your way back to the comfort of Žabljak, celebrating another fantastic hike over dinner, then rest up ready for your thrilling summit hike to Bobotov Kuk – the roof of Durmitor National Park – tomorrow.

Wake at sunrise and get ready for an exciting climb up Bobotov Kuk (2523m), the crowning peak of the Durmitor massif. It's considered the highest peak solely in Montenegro (although Zla Kolata in the Albanian Alps is 11m higher, that mountain sits only partly within the Montenegrin border). Reach the trailhead by transfer at 1725m and set off on a relatively gentle ascent. As you gain elevation, the terrain becomes increasingly rugged, culminating in a thrilling push to the summit. Here, you'll tackle some exposed sections along bolted-down iron cables with a bit of scrambling, requiring sure feet and a head for heights. Reaching the top will reward your efforts, as you'll be greeted with staggering vistas stretching all the way across Montenegro and into Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Albania. You will truly feel atop the roof of Montenegro! Once you're back down, hop in a two-hour ride back to Podgorica where you'll check in at a comfortable city hotel and enjoy a hot shower. Tonight, join your group for a well-earned farewell dinner, sharing tales of the great trails and peaks you've traversed this week!

Detailed Logistics

Transfers

You'll be picked up at Podgorica Airport 20:00 on Day 1, so make sure you book a flight which arrives in plenty time for the meet up. If you are already in Podgorica prior to Day 1, pick up from a central city location can be arranged if requested in advance of travel – just contact your host to request this.

Your trip ends in Podgorica and on Day 5 you'll take a group transfer to Podgorica Airport in time for your morning flight. For those needing transportation to different locations (such as car rental pickup) or at other times/days, taxis between Podgorica city centre and the airport can easily be arranged locally at your own expense for a cost of approximately €10-12.

If you decide to extend your trip in Žabljak and therefore need to transfer to/from there independently, you can opt to travel by bus (fares from €12 per person) or by taxi (approximately €130 per journey).

Travel options

There are regular direct flights to Podgorica from London and Manchester (with Wizzair and Ryanair) as well as from the rest of Europe.

Alternatively, you may choose to fly in and out to Tivat on the coast of Montenegro (Tivat offers direct connections with other regional airports in the UK, such as Birmingham, as well as the rest of Europe). If you use this airport, you can ask your host to provide you with the details of a trusted transfer company who can deliver you to either Podgorica or Durmitor National Park to join the rest of your group. A Tivat to Durmitor transfer costs €180 and takes three and a half hours; the shorter Tivat to Podgorica transfer costs €60-70 and takes two hours.

Another option is to fly to Dubrovnik in Croatia, and make your own way to Podgorica. However, please be aware that during the summer season, significant queues can form at the Croatia–Montenegro border.

Whichever route you choose, please inform your host of your arrival plans well in advance in order to ensure a smooth start to your adventure.

Trip level explained

Level 4

Moderate-Challenging

The average hiking time per day is 5-8 hours, with average distances of 10-15km on rolling or mountainous terrain. There are some steep ascents and descents you'll be tackling in order to reach your summits at altitudes of up to 2500m, but all days can be easily managed if you have previous hiking experience and a good level of fitness. The first two summits (Crvena Greda/Red Rock Peak and Prutas) are usually considered of moderate difficulty, with no particular challenges other than some steep sections typical of mountainous terrain. The final hike up Bobotov Kuk will be more challenging: it includes some parts that will really get your heart pounding, with some short areas which require holding onto a bolted cables, and a bit of scrambling towards the top. You'll need to be sure-footed and unafraid of heights. You will be required to wear well-broken-in mid or high ankle hiking boots with Vibram soles as they are essential for navigating the rocky and varied terrain of Bobotov Kuk. If you decide not to attempt the final exposed section to the summit, there is always the option to wait for the group (up to one hour) to return while soaking in some beautiful mountain views. As a safe ascent of Bobotov Kuk is reliant on suitable weather conditions, in the event of adverse weather such as heavy rain or thunderstorms, your guide reserves the right to switch the hike to an alternative peak with your safety in mind.

High Altitude Factors To Consider

This trip visits locations at or above 2500m. At this altitude some people may experience symptoms associated with Altitude Sickness (opens in new tab), also known as Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). Previous experience at high altitude is not necessarily an indicator of future performance. Your guide(s) are trained to mitigate the risks associated with altitude by carefully managing the rate of ascent and the intensity of the activity, and to provide the appropriate support response should someone feel ill during the trip. Should you experience health issues during your trip you should inform your guide immediately so the proper care can be provided. Owing to the nature of this trip, it is essential that your personal travel insurance policy provides cover up to the maximum altitude visited on this trip as well as emergency medical evacuation by helicopter.

Remote environment: factors to consider

Some parts of this trip take place in areas where access to medical facilities and emergency services may be limited. This may mean that reaching medical care takes longer than you might normally expect, or that local medical facilities have fewer resources than those you may be used to at home.

If someone becomes unwell or injured, initial treatment may be provided locally before onward travel to a larger hospital or city for further care. Evacuation could involve changing the planned route or using different forms of transport to reach appropriate medical facilities. Mobile phone coverage may also be intermittent in some locations.

Your guide is trained to manage situations in remote environments and will monitor the group and respond appropriately if any issues arise. However, it’s important that you let your guide know straight away if you feel unwell or experience any health concerns during the trip.

Before booking, consider your personal health and ability to travel in locations where access to medical care may be delayed. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns, we recommend seeking advice from a medical professional and discussing them with your host before travelling.

All travellers must have suitable travel insurance that covers the activities included in the trip and emergency medical evacuation if required.

Start each day with a diverse continental breakfast, where cereals, bread, butter, jam, honey, cheese, eggs, bacon and a selection of teas and coffees will fuel you up for the hikes. Come lunchtime on the trail, your guide will arrange some sandwich picnics including a medley of fresh bread, meats, cheeses, tomatoes, and cucumber. Please note that drinks consumed with included lunches and dinners are at your own expense.

Whilst your host can cater for vegetarians, it may be more difficult to cater for special diets. The accommodation hosts are usually good at accommodating different dietary requirements but a vegan and gluten free diet may lack variety. The Montenegro 3 Peaks Challenge was a fantastic trip! This was my first trip like this and everything was great from our small group of 7, to our guide Momir, the views, and even the food. Momir did an excellent job of coaching us in areas where we may have been out of our comfort zone, keeping us moving, and getting to know us. Our group bonded really well quite quickly as well. The hikes were a good level of challenging and the landscape in Durmitor National Park is just stunning. We all had to take one last moment moment on our final evening to take it all in before we got in the van for the drive back to town.

Really enjoyed my 3 days in the national park! The hikes were all really good, great views! I had a small 7 person group which I think is ideal sizing. The pace for the group is overall slower than I would go if alone, which made the days quite long. Good if you like to take it slow and have lots of breaks

The Montenegro 3 Peak Challenge is an amazing trip. I was in a group of 7 people which was a really nice number. All being solo travellers we clicked straight away. The three hikes offer varied scenery which is all beautiful, and the hikes are a good level of challenging. The final and highest peak was a good opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and I’m very happy I did! This trip is a brilliant way to see some of the beauty that Montenegro has to offer and would certainly recommend this trip. Our guide Momir was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly and great sense of humour. He read our group well and had safety at the forefront at all times. Thank you for your encouragement and support.

The Montenegro Three Peaks trip was absolutely amazing. Our guide, Momir, was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, approachable, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and well looked after. He planned and paced each day thoughtfully around the group’s different strengths, while still keeping the experience enjoyable and cohesive for everyone. I wasn’t feeling 100% during the trip, but Momir was very attentive, regularly checked in with me, and adjusted the pace appropriately without holding the group back. His care and professionalism were greatly appreciated. The accommodation was comfortable, the mountain food was delicious, and the scenery was simply breathtaking from the pine forests to the beautiful lakes and spectacular mountain views. Montenegro itself is a wonderful country, with incredibly warm and welcoming people. We were a small group of seven adventurers plus Momir, which created a fantastic atmosphere and made the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly, highly recommend Momir and this trip, and I would absolutely travel with him again if I return to Montenegro for another adventure!

  • Antonina S.

Had a wonderful time on this trip - we had a great group and Momir did an amazing job with organisation, all logistics, etc. were sorted without a hitch (even squeezing in an additional lake swim after the second hiking day) and the food was delicious. The views on each hike were top notch and the pace was well matched to the group. The last hike is a bit more challenging and requires some scrambling but it felt safe at all times and all of our group made it to the top with Momir’s expert guidance.

  • Cameron J.

Had an excellent time with absolutely stunning scenery. Not having to worry about food or planning, and being able to put your trust in such a great guide, made the whole experience brilliant. A big thank you to Momir, who was an excellent guide throughout. This was my first trip of this kind and I’ll definitely be doing more! Just be aware that it does require a level of fittness and scrambling ability, but it makes for an unforgettable adventure.

I had a fantastic time in Montenegro, with the stunning scenery and exciting hikes the particular highlights. Momir was a brilliant host, ensuring everything ran smoothly, whilst adding interesting insights in to Montenegran history and the way of life, as well as keeping the humour flowing. The whole group were brilliant fun to be with and I was very happy with the food and accommodation. I would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Had the best 4 days hiking with a great bunch of people, who my husband and I did not know until the trip. I, at 65, was probably the oldest person on that particular trip, but everyone was so understanding when I couldn’t go as fast as they might have liked. Our guide Ozzy was one of the nicest, caring people i have ever met, he always made me feel safe and able to push myself further, and I will always be grateful to him. The scenery on the hikes was spectacular and despite the 35+ forgetting Rees heat we were experiencing there was always time to take in the scenery or dip in a mountain lake. The accommodation was comfortable and clean and the meals were hearty and tasty. I would not hesitate to recommend this adventure to anyone, solo or group traveller - you will have a blast!

Wonderful three days of hiking in Montenegro. The mountains were beautiful and we were lucky with perfect weather in early July. Momir is an excellent guide - he tailored the pace and support to ensure the enjoyment and safety of the group, plus a few stories and jokes thrown in too. I would rate the final hike as challenging with some exposed scramble sections, but the last difficult push to the summit can be avoided if preferred.

Overall, I had such a positive, eye opening experience in Montenegro! The black lake was beautiful! Everything was very well planned and organised by our funny, witty guide Momir, who really looked after every single one of us and made sure we were having the best time! The best day was definitely climbing up Bobotuk Mountain - it was definitely a lot more challenging than I expected, especially the final bit, rock climbing, using cables. . But Sir Momir made sure we were all safe and listened carefully to his instructions. Group dinners together were also very wholesome, and loved getting to know everyone. Food was good too! (delicious sandwiches provided by hotel 1000/10) I totally recommend and wish it was longer !

  • Beautiful hiking and warm hospitality

    Grace W. July 2026
Absolutely loved our time in Montenegro. Honestly, had no clue what to expect going into this hiking trip, but the trails we walked were absolutely breathtaking. Out of all three hikes we enjoyed the last day, submitting Bobotuv Kuk, the most. It involves a good amount of uphill and some cable sections that are technical but doable, especially since our guide Momir was by our side every step of the way. Momir was an excellent lead for our group, figuring out our best pace on the first day and keeping us slowly but steadily moving for all the levels of hikers on our trip. He is also very passionate about Montenegro and shared a lot of its history and stories, which we really enjoyed. As a vegetarian, I also appreciated that Momir always made sure I had something to eat. For veggies, it will be a lot of bread, cheese, and the local Montenegro salad (sliced cabbage, cucumber, and tomato), which was perfect for me. I never went hungry! All in all a really beautiful trip to a new part of the world.
  • Altogether fantastic

    Rowan C. July 2026
This was my first trip with Much Better Adventures and intact my first organised trekking holiday. From start to finish it was great. We were the oldest on the trip by 10 years (fairly fit) and at no point did we feel a menace or a burden . The group were very diverse and all lovely. Our guide "Ozren" was very experienced, patient, good, kind, safe and fun . The accommodation was comfortable and we had everything we needed . There was a big choice of dinner menu and a breakfast buffet. All in all 10/10
  • Incredible Hiking Adventure in Durmitor National Park

    Shubhangi S. July 2026
This trip was fantastic! The hikes were beautifully planned, with each one building on the last. Our group leader, Ozren, was outstanding—he managed everything seamlessly and kept the trip running smoothly. We had a group of 14 people across a wide range of ages and abilities, and everyone was able to get something meaningful out of the experience. Exploring Durmitor National Park while pushing our limits made for an unforgettable adventure. [Even better if] One suggestion for future trips would be to either limit the group size to 8–10 people or have two guides for larger groups. Fourteen people is a lot to manage on a challenging hiking trip, and a smaller guide-to-group ratio would make the experience even smoother and safer.
  • Fabulous trip to Montenegro

    Stephen M. July 2026
I had a brilliant time in Montenegro, superbly looked after by our host Ozzy. Each of the three treks is enjoyable in a different way, with the first two serving as the perfect warm up for Bobotov Kuk. My personal favorite - and I think most of our group's - was the wonderful Prutas where the views are amazing and the hiking doesn't require you to pay too much attention to your path, though Bobotov itself was a hugely rewarding day out. Montenegro is a beautiful country and I highly recommend this trip.
  • Outstanding view and experience

  • Exceeded expectations

    James S. June 2026
Incredible experience. Montenegro is stunning, and it was great to have a guide with such enthusiasm to show it off and teach us about it. The trip was well paced, escalating to more challenging - but equally rewarding - treks. The guide was knowledgeable, taking every opportunity to explain Montenegro's history, the landscape around and anything else we wanted to know. We weren't able to do the final planned hike, due to reasonable safety concerns that were well communicated and explained by the guide, but the route he replaced it with offered the best views of the trip regardless. Certainly didn't feel as if we'd missed out. Beautiful views, excellent guide and a fascinatimg country. I'd highly recommend this trip to anyone.
  • Montenegro is a beautiful country,

    Zoe R. June 2026
Montenegro is a beautiful country, and we enjoyed the company of the rest of the group, but unfortunately this trip didn't deliver the experience we had booked. The holiday is advertised as a Level 4 three-peak challenge. However, we were unable to complete the advertised three peaks, despite asking whether the itinerary could be adjusted when the weather forecast suggested this might be necessary. The pace of the walking also felt well below what we expected from a Level 4 trip. There could have been better explanations which would have allowed for a more positive review. Having said this, Montenegro is an absoltutely stunningn country and I would highly recommend hiking in their beautiful and abundant mountains. Do not let this put you off!

First time doing an MBA trip and I'm honestly super impressed. Amazing hikes, Momir was great.
  • Brilliant adventure

    Mark W. September 2025
The three hikes built onto each other brilliantly. Gearing up for the big one on the last day. Some fairly challenging aspects to the final push up Bobotov Kuk but we were led brilliantly all the way by our guide Momir. Monir understood us expertly. He quickly assessed the different level of needs and made sure that we all could get to the top and complete each day's hike. He has a passion for his country and was able to inform us of lots of knowledge and historical facts. He was great and made the trip the amazing experience that it was. I highly recommend this if you like great hikes in the mountains. Montenegro is a beautiful country.
  • Majestic Montenegro & the Marvellous Momir

    Chris T. September 2025
Quite incredible few days in the Dumitor national Park hosted by Momir Stanojević I cannot recommend highly enough. Putting the incredible landscape and scenery aside Momir was a generous, humorous and endearing guide right from the off who considered our every needs. He is a proud Montenegran with a love of history and Geography and has put together a thoughtful itinerary to ensure you leave with a complete understanding of Dumitor national park and every chance of success on the final day getting up Bobotov Kuk, which is challenging but rewarding climb. The prize at the top is a panaoramic of everything you have walked the previous days and an immense sense of achievement. Thank you Montenegro and thank you Momir

  • Amazing Hiking Trip in Montenegro

    Jennifer K. August 2025
Amazing trip to Montenegro’s Durmitor National Park! The nature was stunning, the hikes were the perfect mix of challenge and enjoyment, and the lakes were ideal for a refreshing post-hike swim. Our guide, Momo, was fantastic - knowledgeable, passionate, and attentive to everyone's needs. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated that he always made sure there were good options. The group vibe was great, the organisation was very smooth, and the trip created unforgettable memories. 10/10, would recommend!
  • Stunning Views ~ Fulfilling Trip

    Deirdre B. August 2025
This is a well organised & jam packed trip - 3 stunning peaks, a dip in the black lake and lots of time for good food & local beer. Momo was a thoughtful and friendly guide, he spoke to everyone we met along the way. He found a suitable pace for myself & the group & he always ensured well timed breaks. Thanks Momo. The views are breathtaking, a beautiful country I would definitely love to re-visit. *Make sure to stay a few extra days to visit the Montenegro coast.
  • Beautiful country, fantastic guide

    George W. July 2025
Effortless trip to northern Montenegro to climb 3 peaks in 3 days. Momo, our guide was brilliant, knowledgeable, helpful and easy going. The country is stunning and I would love to return one day
  • Absolutely great

    Jenny L. July 2025
A great itinerary to take in Montenegro's natural beauty, meet new people and learn about a new country - loved it!! Momir (Momo) our guide was so friendly, the best host! He made sure the pace was right for everyone in our group and shared his extensive knowledge of Montenegro. A great mix of BEAUTIFUL hikes that are challenging but achievable, often ending with a beer with a lovely group of people and a view 😍 Hotels were fab, food was great and all the transfers from the airport etc were seamless. Before I booked I wasn't sure about the heat as I went in July (I'm from the UK) - this turned out not to be a problem as it's cooler on the mountains than in the centre of town and there was a light breeze - so we were all perfectly comfortable in shorts & t-shirts. Can't recommend it enough!

  • Montenegro 3 peak challenge

    Fergus M. July 2025
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to my guides, Momir Stanojevic and Dusan Milic, for their exceptional professionalism and deep knowledge of both the country and the terrain we encountered. Over the course of three days, the experience proved to be both challenging and rewarding, requiring a good level of physical fitness. The accommodations and meals provided were of a high standard. I highly recommend this experience for avid walkers seeking a rewarding three-day adventure.
  • Amazing 3 Peaks

    Toni June 2025
Everything was so smooth and reliable from the time I booked this trip until the end. Communication was perfect, accommodation (cabin by the lakeside) was stunning, food was great and our guide (Balsa) was exceptional! Momir even made an effort to meet us after our final hike! The struggles and scrambles during the hike were worthily paid with beautiful views and fun adventures! Overall, really recommended trip for those who want to enjoy the tranquility mother nature can offer, at the same time surround yourself with stunning landscapes and beautiful likeminded people. 👍👍👍

Her passion evolved into a career, backed by a decade of studies including degrees in international tourism and destination management. She’s worked in the adventure travel sector since 2012, living in Italy, the UK, and now sunny Portugal.

Over twenty years, Marta has explored over 55 countries, visiting remote areas like Ghana, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Haiti and Nepal’s Upper Mustang region. As a Senior Adventure Expansion Manager at Much Better Adventures, she focuses on creating life-changing experiences, ranging from multi-activity adventures, challenging treks to ultimate adventures in iconic places. She loves the challenge of finding the best local adventure hosts around the world, collaborating on adventures that offer genuine immersion, pushing beyond the beaten path and working on exclusive itineraries that challenge your comfort zone.

What makes her tick? Enabling people to live adventure-rich lives while positively impacting and empowering local communities around the world, generating sustainable opportunities for both the host, guides, community, and the environment.

Any excess luggage can be safely left in your mountain chalet accommodation while out on the hikes. You'll only need to take and a 25-35 litre backpack with to carry what you need for the day – which may include a rain jacket, fleece, t-shirts, camera, sun cream, water and picnic lunch. On hot days you will carry fewer clothes, but more drinking water.

In the event of poor weather such as unmelted snow, heavy rain, strong winds and/or storms, it is possible that conditions may become unsafe to summit the mountains on this trip. This is particularly relevant for the final summit hike to Bobotov Kuk, where trails can easily become unsafe due to slippery conditions. Your guide will assess the weather for summit days with your safety in mind. If it becomes necessary to make a change to the planned itinerary, you'll either hike as far as is safe to do so, or be offered an alternative hike (such as Savin Kuk (2313m), which is less challenging but safer in adverse conditions).

Some shops in Žabljak do not accept cards and there is the possibility that card payments might fail due to a weak signal, so you are advised to carry some cash with you for drinks, souvenirs and the like.

This trip visits locations at or above 2500m, where some people may experience symptoms of Altitude Sickness (opens in new tab), also known as Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).

Previous experience at altitude doesn’t guarantee the same response again – your body can react differently on each trip. However, having been at altitude before is still valuable: it gives you a better understanding of how your body might respond, what symptoms to look out for, and how to manage your pace and energy levels.

Your guide is trained to manage the risk of altitude sickness by controlling the rate of ascent, monitoring group wellbeing, and responding appropriately if anyone feels unwell.

Before booking, we recommend considering your personal health, particularly if you have any pre-existing conditions, and consulting a medical professional if you’re unsure. Arriving early to allow your body to acclimatise can also make a big difference.

Your travel insurance must cover the maximum altitude reached on this trip and include emergency evacuation.

This trip operates in areas where daytime temperatures can reach extreme highs, where limited shade and high humidity can also be a factor. These conditions can affect physical performance and increase the risk of dehydration or heat-related illness. Your guide will adjust the pace and monitor the group closely, but hydration, proper clothing, and sun protection are essential.

Before travelling, consider your ability to be active in high temperatures and consult a medical professional if you have concerns – especially if you have any cardiovascular or heat-sensitive conditions. Arriving a day or two prior to the trip may help you adjust gradually to the heat.

Montenegro enjoys over 250 sunny days annually, making it ideal for sun-lovers. Montenegro's coastal regions enjoy a Mediterranean climate, while Podgorica experiences very hot summers. In Podgorica, July and August temperatures often exceed 35°C (95°F), with long, dry days. In contrast, Durmitor National Park offers cooler summers, with daytime temperatures ranging from 18-24°C (64-75°F), sometimes reaching 28-29°C (82-84°F) on the warmest days. Evenings can see significant drops in temperature. While summer weather is generally favourable, unpredictable mountain storms are possible. Your host will prioritise safety and adjust the itinerary if necessary due to weather conditions.

We partner with the World Land Trust to ensure this trip achieves Net-Zero emissions. We also support their Buy an Acre programme, helping local communities to buy and protect natural habitats in perpetuity.

What's the number?
It works out on average at 120kg of CO2 emissions per person, including all local transport, accommodation, food, activities, guides, staff and office operations.

The only thing it doesn’t include right now is flights and travel to the destination. We do make an overall estimate across all our customers separately, but as we don’t book flights, have customers from all corners of the world, and no way of reliably knowing their travel plans, we simply can’t include an individual number in the figure on display here. We’ve got a goal to fix that, so that when you book, there is a way to measure and mitigate the carbon emitted by your flight too.

But what does the number mean?
Yep, hard to picture eh? To give you an idea:

  • Driving 1000 miles/1609km would be approximately 281kg of CO2 in an average car (or 140.5kg per person, if there were two of you in it).
  • A return economy class flight between London and New York would be approximately 1619kg (1.66 tonnes) per person.
  • 10 trees in a temperate forest are estimated to remove approximately 250kg of CO2 from the air in a period of 5-10 years.

What are we doing about it?
Our trips are relatively low-carbon by design, and we're working with all our hosts to develop long term carbon reduction plans. We partner with the World Land Trust (opens in new tab) to ensure this trip achieves Net-Zero emissions. We also support their Buy an Acre (opens in new tab) programme, helping local communities to buy and protect natural habitats in perpetuity, ensuring the protection of the reserve and its wildlife.

Want to know more?
Amazingly, no international travel company has ever publicly published their carbon measurements before, as far as we know. We believe that must change, quickly. So we’re openly sharing the method we used in the hope that other companies will be able to more easily follow suit and build on what we've done so far. You'll find it all here (opens in new tab).
